The Brief
The client — a senior executive couple relocating from Cape Town — required a complete furniture solution for their newly built Sandhurst home. The brief was clear: premium, confident, and built to last. No flat-pack, no compromise. Every piece had to hold its own in a home with 3.2m ceilings, double-volume entrance, and floor-to-ceiling glazing throughout.
The Living Room
The lounge centrepiece is a full-width 3.2m DYNAMIQ media wall spanning the entire north-facing wall. Congo Supergloss panels flank a central floating TV console, with open display shelving above and a continuous BLOCK Credenza at floor level. The composition reads as a single architectural element rather than a collection of furniture pieces.
A 3.4m charcoal boucle sectional sofa defines the seating zone, paired with the TRENZY Fluted Coffee Table in Walnut and a pair of Ribbed Cylinder Ottomans in cream boucle.
The Dining Room
The dining zone transitions seamlessly from the lounge via a continuous Treviso Oak floor finish. An oval 8-seater BLOCK Dining Table in Treviso Oak anchors the space, surrounded by Charcoal Velvet Dining Chairs with brushed brass legs. A BLOCK Display Sideboard in Congo Supergloss provides concealed storage and display space behind the dining table.
The Master Bedroom
The master suite required a hotel-grade result: a BLOCK Platform Bed in Kalstard Oak with charcoal upholstered headboard, matched BLOCK Bedside Pedestals II, a 6-drawer Two-Tone Dresser, and a Luxury Dressing Table in white gloss. The result is calm, considered, and entirely cohesive.
