The Brief
A senior executive couple relocating from Cape Town required a complete furniture solution for their newly built Sandhurst home. The brief was clear: premium, confident, and built to last. Every piece had to hold its own in a home with 3.2m ceilings, double-volume entrance, and floor-to-ceiling glazing throughout.
The Entrance Foyer
The double-volume entrance sets the tone immediately — full-height Infinity Stone dark grey stone cladding on the feature wall, a floating Congo Supergloss console with a sculptural vase, and a statement brass circular mirror. The polished concrete floor with geometric rug anchors the space without competing with the architecture.
The Living Room
The lounge is anchored by a full-height Infinity Stone dark grey stone-clad feature wall with a built-in linear gas fireplace at its base. A full-width 3.2m DYNAMIQ media wall in Congo Supergloss and Treviso Oak spans the room, with open display shelving styled with sculptural ceramics, art books and trailing greenery. A 3.4m charcoal boucle sectional sofa defines the seating zone, paired with a walnut fluted coffee table and two ribbed cylinder ottomans in cream boucle.
Fireplace & Shelving Detail
The linear gas fireplace sits flush within the Infinity Stone panel, framed by Treviso Oak open shelving on both sides — styled with white ceramics, stacked art books and trailing pothos. The composition reads as a single architectural feature wall rather than separate furniture pieces.
The Dining Room
An oval 8-seater BLOCK Dining Table in Treviso Oak anchors the dining zone, surrounded by charcoal velvet dining chairs with brushed brass legs. A Congo Supergloss BLOCK Display Sideboard lines the back wall. A statement brass pendant chandelier above the table completes the composition.
The Master Bedroom
The master suite is hotel-grade: a BLOCK Platform Bed in Kalstard Oak with a charcoal upholstered headboard, matched BLOCK Bedside Pedestals with brushed brass pendant lamps, a 6-drawer Two-Tone Dresser in Kalstard Oak and White Gloss, and a Luxury Dressing Table with mirror. Cream linen bedding with a charcoal throw completes the palette.
