The Brief
A Waterfall Estate residence with 5.5m double-volume ceilings demanded furniture and a feature wall concept that could command the space without overwhelming it. The brief called for drama balanced with warmth — a home that felt like a luxury hotel lobby on arrival, and a family sanctuary once inside.
The Entrance
A full-height Infinity Stone dark grey stone feature wall greets guests on arrival. A floating Kalstard Oak console with a sculptural brass vase and curated art book sits below a large brushed brass circular mirror. A statement brass pendant above and polished marble underfoot complete the arrival experience.
The Living Room
The double-volume lounge is anchored by a full-height Infinity Stone feature wall with a built-in linear gas fireplace at its base. Floor-to-ceiling BLOCK shelving towers in Kalstard Oak flank both sides, styled with ceramics and trailing greenery. An oversized charcoal boucle sectional sofa and large oval travertine coffee table define the seating zone. A statement brushed brass chandelier descends from the double-volume ceiling, tying the scale of the room together.
The Dining Room
An oval 8-seater BLOCK Dining Table in Kalstard Oak anchors the dining zone with charcoal boucle dining chairs on brushed brass legs. A DYNAMIQ smoked glass credenza in Kalstard Oak with brass handles provides concealed storage with a sophisticated finish. A brushed brass chandelier above completes the ensemble.
The Master Bedroom
The master suite uses the full BLOCK bedroom system in Kalstard Oak: platform bed with a clean charcoal upholstered headboard panel, matched bedside pedestals with brushed brass pulls, a 6-drawer two-tone dresser, and a dressing table with oval brass mirror. Cream linen bedding with a deep charcoal throw keeps the palette grounded and calm.
