The Brief
A growing family in Douglasdale needed a complete furniture solution that could scale with their lifestyle — warm enough for everyday family living, refined enough for entertaining. The open-plan layout required a seamless visual flow from the TV wall through to the dining area and beyond.
The Living Room
The feature wall is clad in full-height Treviso stone panels with a built-in linear gas fireplace at its base. A DYNAMIQ media unit in Treviso Oak anchors the wall, flanked by open shelving styled with ceramics and plants. A charcoal boucle sectional sofa and oval walnut coffee table complete the zone. Bifold doors open the lounge directly to the garden, flooding the space with natural light.
The Shelving Wall
A dedicated feature wall in the lounge uses floor-to-ceiling BLOCK shelving towers in Treviso Oak, styled with books, trailing plants and curated ceramics. The composition reads as architectural — built-in quality at a fraction of the joinery cost.
The Dining Room
An oval 6-seater BLOCK Dining Table in Treviso Oak anchors the dining zone with charcoal boucle dining chairs. A warm white BLOCK Display Sideboard provides storage behind. The palette flows naturally from the lounge — consistent Treviso oak and charcoal boucle throughout.
The Master Bedroom
The master bedroom uses the BLOCK bedroom system in Treviso Oak: platform bed with upholstered charcoal headboard, matched pedestals, 6-drawer dresser and dressing table. Cream linen bedding with a warm terracotta throw brings comfort without competing with the oak finishes.
